MARKET COMMENTARY For Wednesday,22 November 2017
The Nifty rose 28.15 points or 0.27% to settle at 10,326.90, its highest closing level since 7 November 2017. The index gained 59.95 points or 0.58% at the day’s high of 10,358.70. The index rose 16.30 points or 0.16% at the day’s low of 10,315.05.
The Sensex advanced 118.45 points or 0.36% to settle at 33,478.35, its highest closing level since 6 November 2017. The index gained 265.15 points or 0.79% at the day’s high of 33,625.05. The index gained 77.71 points or 0.23% at the day’s low of 33,437.61.
The S&P BSE Mid-Cap index rose 0.1%, underperforming the Sensex. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index advanced 0.37%, outperforming the Sensex.
The total turnover on BSE amounted to Rs 4822.95 crore, higher than turnover of Rs 3572.36 crore registered during the previous trading session.
Nifty likely to trade in the range of 10204-10462.
