MARKET COMMENTARY For Friday,17 November 2017
The Sensex rose 346.38 points or 1.06% to settle at 33,106.82, its highest closing level since 10 November 2017.
The index rose 404.71 points, or 1.24% at the day’s high of 33,165.15. The index rose 69.38 points, or 0.21% at the day’s low of 32,829.82.
The Nifty 50 index rose 96.70 points or 0.96% to settle at 10,214.75, its highest closing level since 13 November 2017. The index rose 114.20 points, or 1.13% at the day’s high of 10,232.25. The index rose 21.15 points, or 0.21% at the day’s low of 10,139.20
S&P BSE Mid-Cap index rose 1.07%. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index advanced 1.10%. Both the indices underperformed the Sensex.
On BSE, 1,683 shares rose and 982 shares declined. A total of 159 shares were unchanged.
Nifty likely to trade in the range of 10009-10381.
